Load the archive into Gemini
Recommended pack — Gemini / GitHub Pack (Full Archive Folder or repo import).
Setup steps
step 01
Pick a loading mode
Either (a) unzip 03-gemini-repo-pack/ and import it as a code folder, or (b) clone the public archive repo and import that. Both surface every record to the model.
step 02
Open START_HERE and READER_PROTOCOL
Have Gemini read START_HERE.md and READER_PROTOCOL.md before anything else. Those two files orient it as a reading interface, not a summarizer.
step 03
Save a Gem (optional but recommended)
Wrap the starter prompt as a Gem so every new chat opens in reader mode without re-pasting.
step 04
Begin in Mission Control
Open Chapter 1 and walk through it beat by beat. Ask Gemini to triangulate from action reports, journals, and telemetry as you go.
Starter prompt
I am reading The Ocean Accord, an agent-native literary archive. Read START_HERE.md, READER_PROTOCOL.md, MASTER_CANON.md, and ROUTE_GUIDE.md first. Act as the reading interface. Do not invent canon. Do not summarize the whole book at once. Guide me through the story one beat at a time. Start with Mission Control for Chapter 1. After each operational beat, offer me either a character witness record, a systems note, or a record triangulation option.
Copy this into the platform after uploading the Gemini Pack.
Notes & limits
- Gemini can ingest a code folder or a GitHub repository — up to 5,000 files and 100 MB — which makes the Full Archive viable as-is.
- Gemini's ZIP upload is restricted (max 10 files, no audio/video). Use folder or repo import instead — the Gemini Pack is shaped for this.
- Gems persist a role and starter context across chats — recommended for repeat reading.
- When grounding controls are available, switch them on so answers cite the imported files.
